We went to mother and said, 'Give us this much money.' She said, 'I don't need you to have this much. I won't give it, I won't give it, I won't give it—or else this rascal will ruin himself.' This can only come from a mother, not from anyone else. If you ask someone else for money, they will say, 'Go work for us. Go hit him five times and come back,' and they'll give you ₹100. Someone else will work to trap you. But mother will give five slaps and not give a single rupee, because she knows you will be ruined. And if she knows you will be fine, then if you ask for 11, she will give 21. Why do you worry? Our Shri Ji carries such infinite affection. If asking for money would cause us to miss bhagavat prapti, which is our source of happiness, then He won't give it.
If it seems that yes, you truly need it for proper use, then He will give without your even asking. But if you are asking, then ask from Shri Ji. We are not saying don't ask.
