If any householder sadhak in your life faces a problem, such as losing their job or some other difficulty, can they ask for help from a worldly person, or what should be the attitude here? If there is firm faith, then do not ask—have faith in what the Lord provides. If I trust in God, even if He takes away my job, I will remain hungry, living on tulsi leaves and charanamrit, but I will not ask anyone for help. If it is Your will, sustain us, sustain my family—this is what is meant by faith. Now, if you do not have such faith, then ask for help.
If you do not have such faith, then ask for help. And if you have faith, then see—everything will become fine. It does not take Him long. He is watching your mind and thoughts every single second. The moment you surrender to God's care, everything will be fine. Everything will flow smoothly. How He makes it happen—that is beyond words. We repeatedly say in our satsang: a sword will come to your neck, but upon touching it will become a garland. Indeed, for a person devoted to the lotus feet of God, it is not fitting to ask. If you must ask, then ask the Lord: my job is lost, please arrange for my sustenance.
But if you will not do this, we will not look to anyone else. Whether we must die, whether our body perishes, whether we starve—we will not ask anyone for help. O Thakur Ji, please look after us. For a few days He may let you remain hungry. And when He sees that your faith is firm, He will arrange everything for you.
