The twelve Jyotirlingas are of our Lord Shiva: Somnath in Saurashtra, Mallikarjun in Shri Shaila, Mahakal in Ujjain, Omkar, Mammaleshwar in Parli, Vaidnath in Dakini, Bhima Shankar, Rameshwar at the Setu, Nagesh, in Darukavanee, Vishvanath in Varanasi, Triyambak, in Gautami, and in the Himalayas, Kedar. The Jyotirlingas destroy sins through remembrance. If one remembers the twelve Jyotirlingas every day, then the sins of hundreds of births are destroyed.
