Shri Guru Nanak Sahab is beloved of the entire world. Though the gurus may appear to establish one particular path, their words are for the supreme welfare of all beings in the entire world. Nanak Sahab's teachings speak of two things: for those saints who are devoted to bhajan—service to them and abundant naam jap. This will have the effect that you will attain the timeless state. You will come to know the Lord who pervades every heart in all of creation, both moving and non-moving. When the glory of the guru is revealed, the strength to overcome all vices comes. Then it is Wah Guru's Khalsa and Wah Guru's victory—victory be to the guru's victory.
Victory over all vices in the heart is guru-given. So we pray together that Guru Nanak Sahab grant such grace that the word which is the essence-form of the guru's teachings may be awakened in our hearts. By his grace, may naam flow in our hearts. By his grace, may affection for the deity be established in us. Glory to the most supremely venerable Pujya Shri Nanak Sahab, worthy of reverence among all the gurus to be remembered at dawn. Glory, glory to Shri Radhe Shyam.
