Why are you harboring filth inside? Why do you keep it? That is not your goal. Get rid of it. If you have something, then stand firm. There are only two things. When you place your head in the mortar, why count how many times the pestle will fall? Once I have committed to you, then I will bear every sorrow of yours with joy. I will never complain to anyone. It is the path of love.
When I have committed, whether I have seen the Beloved or not, I love you. Now if these eyes turn toward anyone else, I will pluck them out. If I say to someone else that I love you, I will cut out my tongue. Once I have said to Shyama Shyam that I love you, then in this lifetime I can never say to anyone else that I love you.
