Shri Harivansh Shri Harivansh—no vow, rule, pilgrimage, or other ritual has the power to free you completely from all sins. The great Brahmin sages have understood the importance of naam. That this naam will destroy all your sins. The qualities of the Lord and the form of the Lord are described in the scriptures. In the naam of Shri Hari and Shri Radha there is the power to destroy all sins and all suffering. The great Brahmin sages have described many great vows and rituals.

They do not have this power. Therefore, believe first.

The chanting of the Lord's name destroys all sins.

The naam jap, the naam kirtan of the Lord is so powerful that it will destroy all your greatest accumulated sins, even the terrible hells that must be suffered. By japping naam again and again, both the qualities and the form of the Lord become manifest. Contemplation of the Lord's qualities begins, and darshan of the Lord's form becomes possible. When you meditate with more naam jap and have fewer sins, the contemplation of the Lord's qualities happens. By japping the Lord's naam again and again, a glimpse of the Lord's magnificently attractive beauty, the form that brings the bliss of an ocean of happiness, begins to appear.

The glories of the Lord's naam lead you into the Lord's divine leela. Therefore,

naam vyaharnam Vishnu yat vishyamti
Chant the naam of Vishnu the way an attached person contemplates worldly pleasures.

The way a person attached to worldly enjoyment contemplates pleasures day and night with mental focus—we should meditate on the naam of the Lord in the same way. If the Lord's naam happens with every breath, every moment, every second, and when we become forgetful, there is such awareness that an offense has been committed, and if we cannot bear that loss, then the form of rasa, the Lord, will very quickly become manifest in the heart.

If we jap the naam with every breath, every moment, every second, and we cannot bear any interruption to our naam jap, if naam jap stops and it feels like an offense has been committed, then the Lord will very quickly become manifest in the heart.

It is a matter of great importance to pay attention to this. [deep breathing sound] [sharp intake of breath] Just as if we have wealth and a robber steals it, we cry out in distress—similarly, if we allow lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride, and jealousy to rob our naam-wealth, we should fear these things.

If we indulge in lust, then my naam-wealth will be blocked, it will be stolen. [throat-clearing sound] It will be stolen. We will not be able to continue japping. Our interest will stop, our taste will disappear. So just as when someone's wealth is robbed they become anxious and cry out in distress, similarly, if our naam jap stops or we turn our mind to these filthy deeds, we should cry out like that. "What will happen now? My naam jap will be lost. My naam jap will stop. The effect of my naam jap will be blocked. Because something filthy has entered me."

Remove it immediately. Through bhagavan naam kirtan, bhagavan naam jap, through the satsang of mahats who love the Lord, drive away that evil tendency, otherwise that evil tendency will rob your bhajan.

The Lord is called Bhagavan, so this maya is the very wife of the Lord. Through lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride, jealousy and similar vices, it covers bhajan, it steals bhajan, and it makes bhajan powerless. The effect that bhajan should have—if wrong conduct is running alongside it, that effect will not happen. Only through naam smaran is there attainment of the Lord in Kali Yuga.

The great sage Vyasa Dev was bathing in the Ganges. The great sages, observing the evil ways of Kali Yuga, thought: how will people be liberated? Because people do not consider lying to be a sin. Look at the influence of Kali Yuga! It is written—Kabir Sahab also said:

saanch barobar tap nahi aur jhooth barobar paap
There is no austerity equal to truth, and no sin equal to falsehood.

jake hriday saanch hai taake hriday aap
In whose heart is truth, in their heart is the Lord Himself.

Goswami Tulsidas Ji wrote:

nahi asatya sam patak punja
There is no heap of sin equal to falsehood.

To speak falsehood is the greatest sin. But does anyone consider it so? Look at the influence of Kali Yuga. Now another adharma—earning money through sin or receiving or giving money earned through sin—both are sins. Because if you earn money through sinful deeds and give it to saints or to anyone, that money earned through sin will go and corrupt the intellect of others. So does anyone consider that to be sin? But drinking alcohol—this is mentioned among the five great sins. But if you make a fine filtered drink from the Ganges, prepare pure food, serve everything purely, but if there are no filthy things in the eating—but if there is mental intoxication—then a party is not even considered a party. "Hey, what are you saying, yaar? We wash their feet, we have them wash their hands, we seat them on an asana, we serve them many beautiful and very pure foods, but if there is no alcohol and meat, then today's party would not be called a party at all."

So the sages thought: Kali Yuga is full of sins, full of sin, very much sin. To glance with dirty eyes at other men's mothers and sisters—this is a sin. If we have looked, that is not considered a sin. It is entertainment. What is living in relationship? What is this? It is filthy, no? When the mind wishes, you simply separate from one person and then from another and from a fourth—Kali Yuga will expand sins. So the sages thought: how to be protected from sins?

At that time, Bhagavan Vyasa Dev was bathing in the Ganges—he who expands all the Vedas, who knows all attainments and the means to attain them, and who is the author of the eighteen Puranas—Bhagavan Vyasa Dev.

So everyone thought, "Let's go to Vyas Dev and ask him questions." At that time, all the sages went and were saying "Blessed is Kali, blessed is Kali, blessed is Kali. Kali Yug is blessed. Kali Yug is blessed. Kali Yug is blessed." They were blessing Kali Yug. While bathing in the Ganga, Lord Vyas Dev was glorifying Kali Yug. The sages thought, "We came here to complain that Kali Yug would spread sin, but here it's the opposite—he is glorifying Kali Yug." They were very surprised and, to resolve their doubt, they asked him: "You keep saying blessed is Kali, blessed is Kali, blessed is Kali Yug, you praise Kali Yug. Why do you praise Kali Yug when it spreads sin?"

Lord Vyas Dev explained: "The fruit obtained from doing tapasya for ten years in Satya Yug is obtained from doing tapasya for one year in Treta Yug. And if sadhana is done for one month in Dwapara Yug, that fruit is obtained. But in Kali Yug, in just one day and night—what is obtained from ten years of tapasya in Satya Yug is obtained in twenty-four hours in Kali Yug. What could be greater than this? Ten years of tapasya and twenty-four hours of tapasya—in Satya Yug, tapasya, celibacy, chanting and other practices require great purity. There must be great rules and great discipline. But in Kali Yug, whether you are pure or impure makes no difference.

If you are chanting "Ram Ram, Krishna Krishna, Hari Hari, Radha Radha," then in Kali Yug, the name alone is the means.

The same fruit is obtained in Dwapara through performing worship for several days. But in Kali Yug, through performing naam sankirtan for twenty-four hours, all sins are destroyed—what is obtained there from doing sadhana for ten years is obtained."

The biggest problem in Kali Yug is that the mind does not settle. Apply it to naam jap. But it won't settle in naam jap. It will be drawn to pleasures. It will be drawn to mobile phones. It will be very drawn to watching mobile reels. It will be drawn to watching films. Look, the whole world is filled with qualities and faults. Mobile has qualities too. By the grace of mobile, you are sitting on the banks of Yamuna. If you had not listened to satsang on mobile, you would be running to bathe at the banks of Yamuna. If we take the good from mobile, then we benefit. But there are faults too. In a few seconds, you can search and see the filthiest things. It's in your pocket, sitting in solitude.

So it is written: the biggest problem in Kali Yug is that the mind becomes very restless and goes toward worldly things. If we stop the restlessness of our mind in this Kali Yug and apply it to chanting God's name, then as quickly as God-realization happens in Kali Yug, it doesn't happen so quickly in any other age.

If you chant "Krishna Krishna Krishna, Radha Radha Radha" like this, it will free you from all sins.

Therefore our prayer is this: other means may become the best, there is no objection. But continuously practice chanting the name. If you cannot jap with a mala, then count on a counter. If not with a counter, then jap anyway. God is counting. He is counting every breath of yours. He is watching your every word. God is noting down each and every chant of yours. Just as when we send a message "Radha Radha Radha Radha Radha," whether we note it or not, God is noting it. You will receive its fruit. In Kali Yug, the supreme and only great means that destroys all sins is God's name.

Therefore, chant "Radha Radha" abundantly.
